Hi there! My name is Emilie, and I’m a 25-year-old adventurer who loves to travel, experience different cultures, and explore the great outdoors. I’ve been incredibly lucky to have outstanding family members who have exposed me to all sorts of diverse landscapes and fascinating people since I was young. It’s been such an enriching experience, and I’m always looking forward to my next adventure!

When I’m not jet-setting to new destinations, you will likely find me with my nose buried in a book, swaying to the rhythm of music, or catching waves out on the ocean. Something about the sea calls to me—it’s where I feel most at home, where I find solace and joy in every wave.

Following my partner’s career opportunity, my journey led me to Mauritius, and I instantly fell head over heels for this enchanting island. But it was the mesmerising sight of the underwater waterfall, nestled beneath the majestic Morne Brabant in the west, that truly captured my heart. Though it’s merely an optical illusion, it remains one of the most breathtaking spectacles I’ve ever witnessed—a masterpiece of nature’s boundless beauty.

And so, I’ve embarked on a new chapter, dedicating my blog to unravelling the mysteries of the Underwater Waterfall and uncovering the countless wonders surrounding it.
